New Manga Webcomic: Wandering Souls
Check out a new manga webcomic at www.geocities.com/blackwolf13michael/Wandering_Souls.html
Many cultures compose the rich amalgam that is futuristic, yet almost reduced back to Feudal, Japan. A demon ronin with nothing to lose seeks a ki-lin (I warned you it's an amalgam), picking up a band of those as lost as he is along the way. They are wandering souls, criss-crossing this strange land in search of...something.

Likewise... I just found the community by doing a search on Google.

I was actually testing something else. Wazza, we need to look at why GS doesn't appear in Google!!! I searched on GeekSalad, and got 2 links to geeksalad.org, and the link to this (and then a bunch of other minor links).

I've checked the stats and GS is getting crawled by the googlebot so I'm guessing its something to do with the robots file. I'll have a look at it.

Anyway... I'm here. :-)
Btw... you do need to post more in here... :-D

Why didn't you TELL me there was a community? I would have joined from the start. Well, I'm glad I found it. You're doing a great job and I am loving the strip.

Hello All
New to the community :)

I *heart* the comic.

If I hadn't just realised that I've run out of time (I have to be somewhere in 25 mins), there'd be a rant here.

Never mind.

Elephant takes gold
Just like Law and Order, our headlines are ripped from the newspapers of today. Or like; whatever...

A couple of things. To satisfy the cravings of some of the more dedicated readers, I've added the ever popular tip jar. Becoming yet another site for you not to donate money to...

The tip jar is obligation free, so don't feel like you have to put money in so that I can feed my nine starving children. They're doing just fine sharing a piece of bread between them for breakfast. The wearing of the one pair of shoes in rotation gets a bit old during winter, but hey, it'll toughen them up...

The other thing is the link in the To Do List to Brian Carroll's new comic Instant Classic. A successor to his popular webcomic Briworld, it's definitely worth a read...

ps. ZMatrix, for the Matrix geek in you; now if I could just find something like this with an animated starfield...

(posted to LJ, because there's just a little idea I'm playing with)

Theoretical question...
I'm self-employed.

I'm thinking about taking a day off next week from paying work to spend a day with my characters. Get to know them a bit better...
Do you think it's worth it, or do you think they're rounded out and defined enough as it is?

A little joke I've told people, but that (probably) won't end up in the strip:-

What's the difference between being self-employed and un-employed?
About a week.

(Mind you, as I wrote that, I envisioned the context that I can put it into the strip. Considering it foreshadowing...) ;-)

Now THAT's interesting.

I posted a link to Geek Salad in my personal journal, and I my hits go through the roof.

Heh, cool :-)

Here's a question for the community. Two actually.

1. Should I go back to posting here when I've updated the strip? (sorry, I've been slack)
2. How to get more people into the Geek Salad community?

Wednesday's strip is up!

Do those of you who aren't living in God's Own Country find the time difference distracting?

(Not that I'm going to change anything, it just amuses me ...)

I'm wayyyy too tired to be up this late ...

Wednesday's strip is up.

And as proof of how tired I was, I managed to post this to my personal journal, rather than the community...

Anyways, Tuesday's strip is live (has been for a couple of hours, but I've been tweaking the website ...)
